Q:  My photo is extremely old and fragile - will I loose my original photograph?

A:  No.  Your original photograph will be returned in the same condition it was received. We will create a "digital" image from your photograph and no modifications will be made to your original.  You also have the option of scanning your photo yourself (following our image guidelines) and upload the photo via the upload tool on our website.

If you plan to  scan your own photographs, please save the file in TIFF format and scan at 300dpi.  If you do not have the capabilities of saving the file in TIFF format - you can save it as a JPEG, however the quality of the image will not be as stable and there may be instances that I would need the original to re-scan the photo if there are quality issues in the file you send.

Q:  How do I get my photograph to you?

A:  There are a few options.

  • You can upload them from our website.
  • You can drop them off if you are in the area.
  • You can mail them to me via USPS (PLEASE - pay the extra to have delivery confirmation!  It will protect us both.)

Q:  Can you print photos?

A:  At this time, we do not currently print our own photos.  However, we have several 3rd party sources willing to do so.  Obviously there will be an additional fee for this service as the 3rd party printer will also need to be paid.

Q:  Can you restore an image from a negative or slide?

A:  We can scan and restore from most negatives and slides - providing they are not severely scratched or damaged.

Q: Do you work on copyrighted photos?

A:  In most cases, no.  Please email me if you have questions regarding what items are copyright protected and which are not.
